SHANTI HEALTH CENTER
Shanti Health Centre provides respectful and subsidised healthcare and outreach services in Luwero Disctrict in Central Uganda.
Luwero District has just 10 medical doctors to serve a population of over 465,000 people. Futher, there are little over 110 health workers, 43 clinical officers, 95 midwives and 157 nurses.
With a land size of 2,577 square kilometres, the district is served by 64 health centres, 24 of those are privately owned. There are 26 health facilities that offer maternal and child healthcare and inpatient services.
At Shanti Health Centre, we offer antenatal care, deliveries, postnatal care, immunisations, laboratory, ultrasounds, an ambulance, general inpatient and outpatient care as well as community outreaches.
